It's Global Day of Play!!!!
Team 16 has had a blast playing with toys brought in from home! The only rule was no electronics. It was amazing to see how they could keep themselves happy and busy for the entire day. There was lots of team work and sharing to be seen!

The Power of Pink!!
Our school (along with many others) supported Pink Shirt Day, by wearing all sorts of pink! We watched videos, shared stories and listened to songs that told the sad stories of bullying as well as the poisitve changes that people can make in eachother's lives.

We care about Terry Fox!
We shared some videos, a book and a slideshow about Terry Fox and the things he did for Canada. We thought about how Terry Fox must have felt and all of the words that we could use to describe him. We want to carry on his message of courage and bravery and support his cause to raise money for cancer research!
